Ezekiel, et al.
“The temple Ezekiel describes is hard to understand” it has too often been said the measurements the prince the sacrifices the water flowing to the east it can all be very confusing to one seeing less than should
the measurements? Ezekiel tells us that God told him “Give the people this plan so that they can build it, if they have the heart and will”
the prince? Ezekiel tells us that God constantly says “Then they will know that I am God” and what need had Israel for more than a prince when God Himself would be their King
the sacrifices? Ezekiel tells us that God told him “These are the sacrifices to offer” and since Jesus put an end to them the temple must be pre-incarnate
the water flowing to the east? what if Israel had built this temple as Ezekiel had described what if Israel had, both heart and will decided to love God and to follow Him and building on the apostle’s words “For if their rejection proves to be the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” would not their obedience have been restoration for the world?
understanding Ezekiel is not difficult at all when one remembers its place in God’s larger story
