they tell me I should worry

they tell me I should fear

but why

why should I worry over this

why should I fear its outcome

does not God have me in His care

does not God hold me in His hand

do not all things work toward His glory

my worry and my fear

do no more than show my lack of faith

how could I prove unfaithful

when He Himself is always true

how could I not trust Him

who holds all creation in His hand
