SHOUTS!

morning has come

the sun has risen, shines glorious

upon a once un-ridden colt

curiously treading palm and cloth

and the gentle Man upon it

surrounded by the joyful cry

"HOSANNA!"

"Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!"

morning has come

the sun has risen, shines darkly

into a crowded courtyard

centered around a bloody crown

and the silent Man beneath it

confronted by the angry cry

"CRUCIFY HIM!"

"He is not worthy to live!"

morning has come

the sun has risen, shines triumphant

around an empty tomb

not far from a suddenly turbulent room

and the living Man at its door

welcomed by the adoring cry

"YOU'RE ALIVE!!!"

"You are The Saviour, may God be ever praised!"
