Rapture!

the pre-trib rapture of the church

is at best, christian escapism

is at worst, unfaithful to God

what right have we to think, to hope

that God will call us home

ere the anti-Christ has his day

as suffers our family around the world

as has our family suffered for millennia

how dare we dream our own uplifting

as hundreds, thousands, millions, more

suffer as we ourselves could never dream

how dare we hang our selfish dream

upon our perversions of God’s most holy word

His Truth is immutable

how dare we allow our wishful thought

render pointless God’s perfect word

if He speaks not Truth He speaks not at all
